Billionaire tech entrepreneur Jared Isaacman, 41, exited the SpaceX Polaris Dawn 400 miles above Earth and went on his first ever spacewalk.
Isaacman became the first person to ever take part in a private spacewalk which is considered to be the most dangerous an astronaut will conduct.
SpaceX officials back at mission control conducted final safety checks before confirming it is a “go for a spacewalk.”
The hatch of the Polaris Dawn opened and footage captured the moment Isaacman rose through the opening and he said he can see Earth and “it’s gorgeous.”
He can be heard saying on footage, “Back at home, we all have a lot of work to do. But from here, Earth sure looks like a perfect world.”

Testing the spacesuit he said, “The hands free demonstration is very comparable to the trainer, in terms of the foot restraint.”
Earlier this week Isaacman said, “Whatever risk is associated with it, it is worth it.
“I wasn’t alive when humans walked on the moon.
“I’d certainly like my kids to see humans walking on the moon and Mars, and venturing out and exploring our solar system.”
