Research from industry data platform Stocklytics has revealed how much it will cost to attend the Oasis tour in each UK city the band will visit, with Edinburgh taking the top spot as the most expensive, setting fans back £1,865.52.
The research looked at the cost of tickets, travel, accommodation, a pint, meal for two and merchandise to reveal the total.
And it has revealed the staggering sums Oasis fans are facing having to stump up to watch Noel and Liam back on stage for the first time in 16 years following their 2009 break-up.
Fans were left fuming as Ticketmasters ‘dynamic pricing’ system meant standing tickets went up from £150 face value to £350 within hours due to the demand.
While many fans were lucky enough to secure tickets for their closest venue, thousands will have to travel up and down the country to see Oasis perform for the first time in over 15 years. Looking at train travel to each city from Birmingham, or a flight to Dublin, travelling to Edinburgh will set you back the most at £161.31.
While several hotels are already sold out, including across Edinburgh and Dublin, looking at the average cost for the dates the band are in each town, Manchester is the most expensive city to stay in.
Air bnb’s are also a popular choice for those visiting other cities, so while hotels are sold out in Edinburgh and Dublin, the cost of a one night stay in the Scottish capital during the tour will set you back an eyewatering £1235.21.
While it isn’t yet clear what merchandise will be on offer, or how much it will be, basing prices off Taylor Swift’s Era’s tour costs, a t-shirt will likely set you back a staggering £40.
Enjoying a pint while you watch the band perform their biggest hits, including Don’t Look Back in Anger and Champagne Supernova, will set you back an average of £5.55 across the five cities. But the most expensive pint can be found in Dublin, which will cost you £6.75.
Dublin also comes out as the most expensive city to grab a bite to eat before the concert, with a meal for two setting you back £90.00.
